Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I'm currently on the market for some new tires, rims also, but the tires are much more important.
I want something very quiet and with great performance. I've seen multiple different threads on here about random tires but would like to know which brands have the best luxury tires and the types.
I'd appreciate any feedback, thanks ahead of time

I think you should check out www.discounttire.com. They show what tires are compatible with your car, the optional plus sizes, speed rating, etc. The site rates the tire from good, better, or best.
Like you, I was also in the market to buy new rims and tires. I went from my stock 16" rims to 17" on my 07 Camry. I recently (6/17/09) got the Yokohama YK520 which were rated "best" on the website along with some Drifter MB Wheels (which were on sale for $70 a piece on the website). I drove from LA to San Diego and I must say, I am very happy with my rim and wheels. The ride was smoother than the tires previously on my car and they were definitely quiet.
I recommend going with the rating system on the website. Its pretty much fool proof. They even provide links with explanations to tire terminology.
There are several members here on TN which use Toyo Versado LX tires. I bought a set as well. I would HIGHLY recommend these tires. The grip is a significant upgrade over the OEM tires and they're just SO quiet!

Referring to your bridgestone tire, they are usually a good brand. If you are buying in-store, you can always ask a rep about what tires are recommended and what isn't.
I wouldn't... my wifes camry came with Bridgestone Turanza's and the front ones lasted 13,000 miles... really. To their creidt they did wear nice even, and flat, but they still only lasted 13k. I put Yokohama YK520's on mine and will do the same for hers.
I was looking for a quiet, good handling tire and am happy to report that the ones I ended up with have met my expectation, and then some! My Bridgestone Serenity were a few $ more than others but well worth it. Wet weather capability is awesome-no other tire has handled torrential thunderstorms as well- often 10 inches of water at speed without any hydroplaning etc. This was a major requirement for me. Road noise is very minimal and ride comfort quite good. It also handles well and provides a great degree of confidence. The 45K mile wear warranty is good with a AA rating- what is not to like. Check out their ratings at Tire rack.com
Michelin HydroEdge are great. Quiet on my Camry, tread wear rating of 800 and a mileage guarantee of 90k miles. Grip very well. Hard compound so perhaps a bit more stiff than oem, but not expensive and will last a long time.
