Gen6 How to improve power?

Hi seniors, I bought my Camry I4 2.4 2 years ago. I am not really satisfied with its horsepower and torque especially on slopes, and I am new to car modification too. I care for my car and service up to date. Could anyone give me some suggestions on improving horsepower and torque? Thank you in advance?

Too late, I lose a lot if I sell it now, beside, it is a comfortable car and has a gigantic trunk.

Yea, like Leinadneon said, Turbo is your only option...There's no performance parts for the Camry really.

To get started, you probably would want to get an exhaust and intake, but keep in mind that these will only increase horsepower and probably lower torque due to reduced backpressure. Unfortunately there isn't a lot you can do to Camrys performance wise. You can get a turbo like others said but that would cost several thousand dollars.

Other things you should consider is to get the Ultra Racing strut and rear sway bar to improve handling. This might give you the impression of improved performance while noticably improving handling.

In the future, you may want to use the search feature as there have been many threads on this topic.

for actual noticeable gains, your going to have to go with forced induction.

intake and exhaust won't do anything for you...you don't feel the gains, and you will probably lose MPG because you'll be revving higher just to hear the whoosh of the intake and exhaust note.

Again...it's a Camry...you want power don't buy onw...or Turbo it.

Isn't this all the reason you were suppoed to take a test drive? Trade the car in for a v6 and be done with it. Sure, install a turbo on the I4, kill the engine, void the warranty, and have trouble selling it to anyone who knows the car's history. Just eat the big one and get a new car, and this time, take a test drive. All in all, it will be cheaper.
