2007 CCFL Headlights (Sorry For The Redundancy But I Need Help!!)

I know it's been asked before but never a clear answer...

I need to get new headlights and was about to buy the CCFL's that you see on Ebay and on Google search...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-08-TOYOTA-CAMRY-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-CCFL-HALO-BC_W0QQitemZ360102102676QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_ Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item53d7c20694&_t rksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=65%3A12|39%3A1|72%3A 1205|240%3A1318

http://www.migicute.com/hdtcamry07bk.html

...but I keep reading on the forums that the lights on Ebay suck due to the projectors being POS. My question is what is bad about them? Do they not direct the light properly? Do they melt with HID heat? And what should I do?

I don't know enough to retro a set myself, but I need new headlights. PLEASE HELP!!! What should I do? I really like the black casing look for my silver gen 6 and the Halos are really sweet.

Thanks

No need to bump or ask "anyone?" within 3 hours. There are people at work, school and in different time zones. You could of also posted his on any current threads that relates to this topic. Would of gotten the same response.

Since you read on the forums that they suck, you would know why as people gave reasons. Projectors suck, housing is crap, quality is crap and halo is tacky.

Why do you need new headlights anyways? If you want black casing, bake the headlights and paint it yourself. Dont know how to retro, pay someone to do it for you (moderator JSM1284 does it and there is a thread on this).

I have a similar question, I am looking to get CCFL's as I am planning to do the black housing procedure with taking the lights apart, etc. But ive looked all around the forums, the web and i still cant figure out what size halo rings i need to get? I saw somewhere it said 75mm but everywhere on ebay and other stores 75mm is not that common, will an 80mm ring work??

Hey! what about me?!

Anyway, to the OP, read up on a few pages on how to open up your headlights. It is very easy (laborious, at first) and you can add halos and do the retro at the same time. Good luck!

Actually, your Angel Eyes are better looking than mine because you have a darker housing.
