trd sports thermostat
anybody here changed their stock thermostat with an aftermarket, say TRD sports thermostat? stock thermostat opens at around 82 celcius. the sprots thermostat opens at 71 celcius
i changed mine and i'm having problems with my coolant. coolant keeps ejecting out of the relief hose on top of the reservoir as the coolant starts warming up.
my question is it a requirement after changing the thermostat to change also the radiator cap to a higher pressure one?
i'm driving a gen5, mcv30 with a 1mzfe engine.
