I'm so glad you've posted this helpful statement. 4600+ posts and this is the level of assitance you provide. Bravo
Both the OP and myself are 2010 owners - Since I bought the car Friday, I suppose I'll make a repair manual appear out of nowhere by snapping my fingers.
I guess it was foolish of us to join a forum to share experiences with other owners - you're right, everyone should keep to themselves and just stock up on service manuals. TY for the enlightenment.

i think ur stuck with the dealer install. i heard 2010s are easier than before but you still need the original parts. ask at the dealer and they will help. if price is not right then try to get it lower or go to another dealer.

Not by snapping your fingers, but by taking an hour, $15 and downloading.
Look at the two great responses before this, that say nothing or are completely off base.
How many people on this forum do you think that have 2010's at all yet alone care about the question posed?
A lot of the people on the forum contribute little and just pop in to ask a question when they are stumped, can't read the Owners manual or use the forum as a chat room. They don't want to Search for the answer or are too challenged to Search.
They want the answers, pictures, DIYs, where to order, in short they want their hand held and to be spoonfed.
Isnt that the point of these forums...to help the ones who may not be as smart, gifted or have as much time as some? I have been in many forums, and there is always some douchebag that thinks he is above the rest. Said douchbag does not have to answer questions with condescending tones and could leave TN at anytime....probably not be missed by anyone....
Okay - not my first time around the block. Owner's manuals do not help you identify wiring schematics and install ports, just in case you haven't looked at yours lately.
Thought this would be a good forum. Guess it's just like everywhere else. A bunch of smart asses try to dictate what's going on.

The factory service manual should not be confused with your vehicle owners manual.

Nobody mentioned Owner Manuals....words mean something.
Wow, just like everywhere else....and who has the problem????????
What do you need to access the actual antenna for? Just buy the behind-the-dash tuner kit and connect it to the wire that has been brought to behind the radio already.

The dealer wants $700 parts/labor to convert my car to Sirius!! I have a lifetime Sirius subscription that I bought 3 years ago and it didn't even cost me $500. They want $700 to convert which is the equivalent of paying for the service for 4.5 years! I probably won't have this car by then.
Unbelievable.
I downloaded all the pdf's relating to the satellite wiring/receiver mounting from TIS - it doesn't help at all. There antenna is wired into the factory harness somehow.
All the 2007-2009 kits don't take advantage of the built-in antenna. Maybe in a few months somebody will have an aftermarket kit for the 2010 models.
