'02 V6 hesitation when decelerating

Long Story...My '02 V6 with 84,000 mi. will experience a hesitation or slight bucking at highway speeds but only when decelerating or going down a hill. It starts doing it when the car has been driven about 200 miles on a trip, not around town. Timing belt changed and transmission has been serviced. And the dealer has found no codes. The car runs fine otherwise, great mileage and no hesitation when accelerating. Any ideas? Thanks..

EGR Valve?

How did you find out it was the EGR valve? The dealer never heard of the problem and found no codes.

hesitation

Mind if I ask how much that cost? How many miles were on it when you first noticed it? Mine has 84k on it now.
