USA 5Gen '04 Camry SE 3.3 - Got the shakes

I have an '04 Camry SE 3.3 VVTi that has served me well this past 5 years. Recently, I replaced a pair of front rotors because one of them went bad -- as in warped, and would pulsate when the brakes are applied. Now that the rotors are brand new, the pulsating brakes are gone; however, I still detect the shakes but not from the wheels.

It seems that the whole engine has the shakes when I apply the brakes. I was told that this may be attributed to the soft engine mounts this car has. Is there truth to this? If the engine mounts are soft, what is there to remedy the shakes?

Thanks, and I hope to hear from Toyota technicians in this forum ...

thats BS. can you feel the vibrations through the wheel? is it ONLY when you brake? How about the rear rotors? if u put it in neutral while braking does the vibration stop? Try getting ur wheels balanced and an alignment couldn't hurt after 5 years either.
