Gen6 Exhaust Tip to close to lip?

Hey TN Members. Got a quick question.

I just installed an exhaust tip (bolt-on type) and I was wondering if the exhaust is too close to the lip. Picture below...

I know its crooked :P. What do you guys think? Is the clearance okay?

Those muffler guys would use "2 fingers" to measure for clearance all around. From the picture, U barely can put 1 finger in there ... I'm trying to think positive ... Nah I dont feel good about this ...

Without the exhaust tip, the clearance is two fingers. That means I won't be able to install this exhaust tip without creating a bigger cut in the bumper. What would be the consequences if I left my installation this way?

Well, the "2 fingers" thing has more to do with the atheistic than standard safety hazard. Keep in mind that it's not just the heat that we are talking about here. The muffler tip would need some room to vibrate and not hitting on the bumper... U should give it a test drive to see if u hear any funny noise...

Okay well I drove it from Disneyland to San Diego and heard no weird rumbling on the way there. I guess I'm in the clear.

The exhaust tip is generic. I bought it from my local Autozone store. Thanks for all the replies. I feel much better about my installation. Nice looking Camry (GT-R SE). I was debating between those tail lights and the clear ones. I decided to make my car more unique and chose the clear chrome ones.
