Fried Both 12v Sockets

I've got this funky iPhone charger that I think might have fried the 12V socket in a rental car a few months ago....should have thrown it out immediately....but hung on to it, and, sure enough, tonight I stupidly tried to use it in my Camry.....and both my cigarette lighter socket and the auxiliary socket in the cabinet between the seats are dead (I've tried plugging in chargers that I know to work).

Strangely, the "cigarette lighter" fuse under the dashboard is ok (I swapped in another fuse just to be sure, and nothing happened).

Any thoughts?

And, yes, I immediately threw away the funky charger (after cutting the cord apart with a scissors, to spare any potential trash can scavengers)

the fuse labled power socket is the one you popped (20amp).... i popped the same one using a crappy voltmeter checking for the powerside to those sockets. You can use the fuse from the "cig" slot. the "cig" fuse is not atached to anything, basically a spare. you can buy a replacement fuse from auto/zone. it a low profile mini fuse.
