Question on starter Camry XLE 2003

Car has 68000 miles on it and is Toyota Certified. Only had it about 8 months or so. Has all the maintenance records. What's happening is this and it doesn't happen every time I start it. Car will turn over then will skip or stop for a sec then turn over till it starts. Again this doesn't happen every time. Maybe once every 2-3 days. Is it the starter or??

Can't help you with the technical aspects of your problem (though, when the starter was going on the gen 3.5, I'd turn the key and get nothing, then turn it again and it might start or I might get nothing again) - but if you bought your car "certified" it should have something like a 12 month warranty regardless of it being out of the factory warranty.

My suggestion? Take it to the dealer and let them deal with it. You paid extra for a "certified" car, so get your money's worth. Good luck.

Take it to an Automotive store and check your battery.
