HELP!! '09 Camry SE V6, loud cabin noise and wierd noise from rear

Hello, I'm a newbie to this site and to Toyota's. My wife and I purchased an '09 Camry SE v6 and we have been having problems with it. Don't get me wrong we love the car, looks great and fast. I just want to ask of all of you to see if you have experienced the same issues I have because the dealer persistently say's it's normal.

1.Loud excessive noise inside the cabin at around 60+ mph. As if you have the window cracked really small.

2. Weird clunk noise coming from the rear when you go over a speed bump or an un-even road. Toyota says, "it's because of the sport tuned suspension".

I am taking the car back in for the 3rd time this Monday, 07/20/09, so any info would be great!

Thank you for your time everyone.

Is it like a wind noise? Cause my other 08 LE has some wind noise (louder than my 09 SE).

I do have some interior rattles (sunroof and seatbelt / door pillar), and I have the clunking noise too, but I'm not gonna bother taking it to the dealer, if it doesn't fall off, I'm not gonna fix it.

Other than that, it's pretty quiet.

Yes, it's a wind noise. I am fine with those little noises as u mentioned above bcuz they are typical noises. I am concerned with just the cabin noise because I have '98 Nissan SE-r that is way quieter along w/ my buddies '09 Civic SI.

Basically, if this is typical of all Camry's or just '09 Camry's to have this wind noise, then I will/can live with it. But if it's not then I have an issue.

Everyone/Most have the rear clunk sound... It doesnt even phase me anymore when i hear... its part of the car now.
Cant relate to the wind sound though, mine doesnt do that, or has it ever...
You should take the car in and have a tech ride with you on the highway doing about 60-70 mph so they know what they need to look at.

Gen6

2008 Camry SE v6, 23000 miles, no wind noise, no clucking.

I do have intermittent exhaust valve noise when engine is cold, there is a TSB out for it, but not worth having done...could cause more problems to fix.

And mine has the oil pipe 2 TSB for the rubber hose that will need attending to down the road.

Drive it like you stole it!
