Need help/recommendations upgrading car audio for 2010 Camry SE

Hi Everyone,

I just bought a 2010 Camry SE, so far I love the car, except the factory speakers kind of suck. I bought the non-navi, non-JBL package. The deck itself though is decent given it has bluetooth, xm, and can control my ipod through it's aux USB port. Not to mention the steering wheel controls for track/volume change, and blue tooth commands is nice. So really it's only the sound that kind of sucks.

I was debating on just replacing the speakers with something with high sensitivity, and then throwing in an old sub. But I'm afraid by doing so the factory radio just won't be able to power the after market speakers enough so that it won't get drowned out by a sub.

I decided that I would like if at possible to keep my factory deck because it's got decent features, I'd like to keep all my steering wheel controls (i think with most modulators I would lose my bluetooth buttons), and also keep the oem look if at all possible. So I'm led to these two options using a sound processor with 2 (front and rear) preamp outs. I was debating the JL CleanSweep CL441DSP my only issue is you have to control volume with a seperate knob mounted somewhere near the driver?!? Anyway"

1) 4 channel amp - powering front speakers, and powering sub.
con - the rear speakers get drowned out i guess?
3) a 4 channel and 2 channel amp - powering 4 speakers and amp.
- my only issue with this is the 4 channel amp would get powered by the front preamp outs, which would mean I would not have the ability to control the fade from the speakers in the car between front and rear. it would just fade music away from the sub that would be connected to the rear preamp out.

Anyway, just curious what you would recommend would be my best option for better sound. Thanks a bunch.

And for the sub , sinec your just justing the oem radio. You could install an amp gain switch near the front somewhere to control the gain or the volume of the sub (not really, but kinda-ish? lol).

Or you could just get a new deck and make everything even easier !

Good luck

1) You could go that way or even get another amp separate for the sub.
As for rear's you shouldn't worry about it too much. Focus more on the front speakers since you will be hearing those more. Get a nice set of components and amp them.
3) (?? wheres 2 :lol) With 4 channel amps, there would be two set of inputs, one for the front and one for the rear so you still would be able to control the fade. Well possibly im not exactly sure how the JL cleansweep works but it should be able to work.
