Bought Salvage 09 Camry

Doesnt look too bad from 25 feet away...

Makes a growl or light rattleing sound, increases with engine speed, could be transmission from the look of the pan...

Or could it be the axle someone installed? If they installed it like they did the body work, I am surprised it is still in there.

It has 13k on it and is just base LE.

I may sell it if I cant figure out the noise. I bought it for a cheap commuter car and cant risk having something break down on my long commute.

always thoroughly examine a used car before buying.
Also did you get a carfax for it before buying? I know it doesnt show everything but it still might show something.

I would never buy salvage. Who knows what would happen if you got into an accident.

he never stated if he bought the car knowing it was salvaged or not. You know there are people who don't even look at the cars they buy out there and they find out problems after they buy it.

but you know what confuses me? Not a salvaged title...
A lexus camry really confuses me................................................ .......
HA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would buy a new base model Corolla, if you don't have the cash than a salvage Camry, at least you're on the safe side.

On the OP's thread title he has "Bought Salvaged 09 Camry" so it has to have a salvaged title.

i think this is absolutely nuts... lol salvage means it has been totalled im pretty sure and that is nuts cause it almost always means frame damage even if it doesnt look obvious... make sure you think long and hard about what you do with this car lol

He said he's going to sell it and let someone drive the death trap. Smart move.
