Gauge LED's

Hey Everyone,
I wanted to know if the lights are in the back of your dashboard are the same bulb #'s from model to model. My friend has an '08 Sentra & he wants me to change the lights in his dashboard from orange to blue, so I was going to put LED's in them. After I do that, I might want to do do the same on my '05 Camry LE. How many bulbs are in the gauge cluster so I could have an idea on how many LED's that I need to order.

05 camrys already have LED back lighting for the gauges... so unless you're good with a soldering iron and soldering small parts, you can forget about changing the color.

Thanks for the tip, I want to change the lights where I have the climate control though b/c they are the NeoWedge LED's, so I might order a hand-full of those, I just have to figure out what color I want to make them, I might make them white to match the gauges.

ah ok, then there are two bulbs... but changing the color will only do so much. the rings around the controls have green silk screened on the back of them... any color you choose will have a slight green tint to them. so if you try to make them white, they'll just come out as green anyway.

as for the buttons themselves (on/off indicator and backlight)... they are LED and not easy to get to. you essentially have to take apart the hvac controls to desolder and solder in new leds.
