Gen6 Fog light UPDATE( DIY fog w/o headlight)

I tried other ways but it never work, so i did this to my car. Since fog n low beam are using h11, i swap the power wire so when u put low beam on the fog light will come on, n fog on the low beam will turn on. The left side( driver) the fog n low beam wire were long enough but the other side were short so i extend the wire as u can see in the first 2 pics, i had to remove the upper part of the bumper to able to get inside to swap the wire around. good luck guys, hope this help other.

yeah i remove the fog cover to paint them, i also remove the orange light on both side, i like it better w/o those light

UPDATE:

so many tell me that wires i was using is not safe the factory wires n stuff so i upgrade the wires to these heavy duty harnesses for it, take a look

Very very clever.
Never woudl've thought of that.

So you control your low beams with your fog light switch?
One problem is that when you turn you high beams on, your lows cut off.

Also your parking lights have to come on if you want to use them as your drls.

So that means your turn signals in the front dont work. If not, thats illegal.
