5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
i have a new edition to my family and i wanted to share this moment with u guys. he is the reason why i got the camry as before i had the camry i was driving my 400whp 04 wrx in which i blew the motor on just before gettin the camry. when i had the subaru down i went ahead and decided i wanted more power and did a full build on the engine and heads stroked the engine from 2.0 to 2.5 did a port n polish head with all the titanium hardware i can find. then i get the news that i have to sell the car for something more practical, i sold the car for 5k wit no motor or tranny just recently sold the heads and still have possession of the built bottom end, the wife hated the suby cuz it was too loud and tooo fast and she said that i cant drive a baby around in a 600whp car. so to the date the new baby mobile is the camry i love it even though i wish it had more power(by the way 09 le) and dont regret gettin the v6 cuz i wanted good gas mileage. so on to the pics
Congratulations on the new addition. I was in the same boat as you, I had a 510 rwhp Ford Lightning that I sold to get my '09 four banger Camry LE in preparation for our new baby. I miss the Lightning, but I wouldn't change the way things worked out. Being a proud new parent really puts your life into perspective.
Congrats on the new addition to the family. Now all moneys will have to go to college fund,pampers,milk,etc.,etc.,no mods for u pal.
thanks man. im just happy to have him home this have been the longest 9months of my life. so now imma enjoy him.
as far as the mods thier a couple of things i want to do to the camry to make it more original and look sweet. my boy who built my suby motor is so so tempting me to make this car turbo but i dont kno.
