Thumbs up WTB toyota or mitsubishi

I know I'm probably asking this on the wrong website cause i know what your answers gonna be.....anyway

I am a salesmen for a big autoparts chain in central US so my daily commute is roughly 160 miles a day. But I have to use my own car.

Ive been hovering here for a couple weeks reading posts and what not but I'm still a little torn

brand new camry v6 or brand new mitsubishi ralliart

I like the camry cause it look f_cken sweet, its fast, reliable, and above all it looks comfortable.

now the ralliart... looks cool, fast, don't know how reliable it is, AWD (winter storms don't stop my commute), the ride is also smooth and comfortable!!

both priced about the same too

what do you think?

thanks guys

Get a diesel rabbit or jetta. you'll be glad you did when the fuel bill comes at the end of the month.

For a high mileage car and comfortable daily driver, I would choose the Camry personally. The Ralliart is ok, but a little on the cramped in terms of interior space.

If you're 6foot tall and weigh less than 200 pounds, don't get the XLE leather seats. Even though they are comfortable, they don't offer much support and you will find yourself shuffling quite a bit on long drives. I commute 90 miles a day and really wish I got the SE after hearing how comfortable and supportive the sport seats are. However, if you're a larger person, the XLE is for you.

i'm just about 6 feet(maybe half a inch away) and have no problem sitting in the xle on long rides. enjoyed also sitting in my camry for a long time while at the rockland meet. best thing is like others said. take a ride in both and look also at the different trims. maybe u'll end up with a evo. also if its within your budget then try a is250awd.

Well obviously there are going to be biased opinions since this is a Toyota forum, but still, if I were you then I would definitely would get a Camry because of the reliability.

x2 if you are anything about that 6'/200lb mark, I would go with the Camry. I have sat in a gen 6 SE and I am 6'3" and I had plenty of legroom. I cant imagine the ralliart having nearly as much room(isnt it considered a compact?). The AWD would help a little bit in the snow, but if you drive highway, FWD wont cause much problems. Not sure what the mpg is on the ralliart, but on the V6 camry, you can easily get 29mpg highway.

Really, they are totally different cars. One is a midsized sedan with a comfortable ride and V6 and the other is a turbo 4 with a sport suspension.

Either go with Evo or stick with the Camry, dont settle for anything in between ...

Just my 2 cents ...

You think a young kids car will last you for long?

Does my car look like a old persons car?

I would probably opt for a diesel Jetta over the Camry only because it has higher mileage, by a lot I mean, average of 44 mpg city/ 50 hwy. And it has more torque and pulls quicker like a sports car.
