Scion tC pulley for Camry I4

I read n see that Scion tC n Camry Gen6 I4 have the same engine (2AZ-FE) so i look up some mods parts for that engine n see that a pulley is one of the easiest one to do n can gain lit bit of power n torque. But im not sure the scion tC pulley will fix the Camry(i4) so i need some help spec from Gene n Paul since the are the top engine mods n know more about engine (I4) than anyone in here. other are welcome to give ideas too.
So i make this thread for me to know n share other too.

Here some info i found

BENEFITS WEIGHT COMPARISONS

-NST-
Great weight reduction
- Average of 65% - 70% over OEM
Increased horsepower
- Average of 7 - 10 horsepower
Lower ET's & higher trap speeds
- Average of .20s & average of 2MPH
-Crank Pulley
59oz
14oz
-Alternator Pulley
10oz
03oz
-Water Pump Pulley
14oz
06oz
Quote:
weighs about 3.5lbs lighter then the factory pulley. Reducing rotating mass gives the Scion TC a gain of 10 horsepower and an increase in torque by 11 ft/lbs as Dyno proven.

Overall driving impression is an increase in throttle response during acceleration. The entire power band gains performance and drivability remains the same.
Quote:
It's actually 12whp and 12 torque, not .5.. it was dynoed on scionlife a few weeks ago, the dynos were done 15 minutes apart from each other.

I have yet to see any problems on any 2AZ-FE yet, some have had it on over 20,000 miles. ZPI is running one on their tC that has ran low 12s several times (talk about some stress on that crank pulley), they haven't had any problems at all with it.

it fits.

agency power pulleys also do the job, but i'd go for nst myself though. try and see if they have a non-overdrive/underdrive stock diameter pulley for the alternator and waterpump or if they can make one (it's been a while since i've checked). just another personal thing, but i'd rather not underdrive the accessories. also, for the crank pulley- there's a larger risk associated with that, although many over at scionlife have run tens of thousands of miles (so far) with the lightweight crank pulley with no problems as of yet. i'm not too brave for the crank pulley. i'm aware of the in-block balancers, but i'm not sure about the oem crank. not enough research on my part yet.

oh yeah...

part number for camry i4 crankshaft pulley: 13470-28020
part number for tc crankshaft pulely: 13470-28020

try these:

lighter dampened pulleys. not as light as the nst pulley's but you won't run the risk of damaging your engine down the road from an undampened pulley.

Well they will work. But you have to keep in mind that the motor was not built to run on any different pulley then the OEM one, so you can't expect it to last for as long as stock.

The purpose of this pulley is to strengthen the stock part, provide better balancing and rotational weight distribution, and to provide superior dampening. This is not a lightweight part and is designed for use in high revving engines.

Yeah, I was considering getting myself the unorthodox ones, underdrive and/or overdrive. but I'm worried about what redline and pawel are saying.
