HEy, i got I4 , 09camry with H&R drop. Can someone with h&r make a picture of the rear spring sitting on the strut. I want to see if the rings on the top of the spring are touching each other. The reason why i'm asking its because my springs are making noise . I appreciate the help !

Couldnt get the camera up there, but my spings dont make any noise except for fender rub, once in a blue moon....what kinda noise are u refering too, sqeaky noises?
Yes it is a sqeaky noise , and the rings on the top of the rear springs are resting on each other so when I accelerate Its olso a clicking noise , . , its kind of loud sometimes so I started to look for the solution. Got springs on my car for over 2 months.
IM HERE!! lol... mine are resting on each other too i just checked for you... they are what is called dead coils so they are actually supposed to be fully compressed... this is actually to make the spring the same height as the stock spring so it fits better i guess lol... i would check the strut itself and see if that is what is causeing the squeak because i sure dont have that part... also do you have an SE? if so it could be the V brace because mine was squeaking after the install cause i hadn't tightened it down enough
also if it is very loud i would def check the Vbrace cause that would indicate that it is coming from a component inside the cabin and not from and outside component suck as the shock
Thanks Mike, i got LE . That what i though that the spring its suppose to be like that fully compressed . I don't know whats the problem is , i'm 100 % sure that i did everything the way it suppose to be . Im working on cars every day. I just want to see if someone else have the same problem. I'll probably going to take it apart and reinstall , but it is strange that this is happening . Thanks again.
maybe the top part of the strut is not torqued properly and its causing it to move slightly and squeak... i almost over looked the torquing of the top bolts and i figure that could be you problem maybe... i would only take it apart again as a last resort
I will check every single bolt again , because squeaking starts after a while. And maybe this is causing the problem. If not i will take it apart, got all power tools so its not a big deal..
Does are air tools , i used only air torque gun to tighten the bolts from suspension . The top bolts of the strut im doing by hand. Anyway i check the bolts from the strut , it wasn't loose but i still can torque them a lil bit more. So i did , and i think no more clicking noise for now we see after a while . I don't know about squeaking still didn't drive enough. Ill see.
just be careful and use a manual torque wrench to check... i used an impact gun to take my wheels off and compress the springs and that was the only things i used it for
