Help with A/C smell

Ok hopefully someone can help. I have a 2005 Camry XLE and lately when the A/C is turned on Im getting that fungus/mold smell. Whats the best advice for fixing this? Thanks

Yes, search the forum for lengthy prior discussions of this. There is a foam you squirt in there. Search the web for air conditioning cleaners.

First before you get into anything expensive, when was the last time you changed your cabin air filter? If you know that's def not the prob then take the car to a shop and have them inspect it.

The cabin air filter is located behind the glove box, very simple change and the replacement part will only cost you around $20.

The dealer will tell you the evaporator is too small. Then try to to sell you their HVAC cleaning service.

Dont take it to the dealer. They will look for anyway to rip you off.
Example: i Needed to change an oxygen sensor changed, the were charging me $500. I bough the O2 Sensor for $114 and did it myself.
