Gen6 OEM SE Spring on LE or CE???

If the GEN 6 oem SE spring were installed on a GEN 6 ce or le then how much stiffer would it be?? and would it make the car any lower?

I know the SE has stiffer suspension, but how much of a difference would just the springs make when installed on the LE or CE? And would it lower the car any?

Anyone have experiance where they did this would be helpful or some straight facts...thanks

i believe would lower about half a inch and it would be a bit stiffer but no really stiff. would probably be about a step stiffer. driven all types of models and SE is really not that bad at all.

Does not lower , the SE is lower because of body molding.
The SE struts have a 50 percent more damping with out them the SE springs alone will be out of step with the stock le/ce struts , most likely unruly bucking bronco syndrome over certain road surfaces.

It would be a pointless thing to do.

There has been talk that the dealer has to do it. But by law as long as you keep the paperwork from who ever installs them for you, warranty should be good.

KYB GR2 struts that is stock on the Gen6 SE Camry.

old motortrend article: 2007 Camry SE

The springs are 15 percent stiffer, the dampers 50 percent firmer, the front anti-roll bar is thicker, and the body is reinforced with an underfloor brace, thicker body side brackets, and a V brace behind the rear seatback.

Suspension thread
Gen 6 Suspension Thread(coils, spring, strut bar, sway bar,....)

If I had a LE/CE, I would go for H&R springs with SE struts, but the SE will have firmer bushings etc.
