Gen6 Gen 6 to Gen 6.5 Front End Conversion

So I finally got around to it =)

My car as it was along side the new bumper.

Switching out all the needed screws, clips and fasteners. Don't mind the red tape, it's for the splitters

Headlights in =)

1 of 2 issues that I came across. Easy fix tho, you can cut across the rounded line, or you can fold it like I did.

Bumper installed.

Added the splitters. It was a pain lining them up together.

With headlight and fogs on

A sneak shot =) Sorry everyone for the stockers... need new tires and ordering them next month.

2nd issue is that the connectors for the parking light and turn signals are different. So i'll have to get some wire and connectors and splice them on. =P... I'll do that when I get more time. Soon hopefully.

I'll have to get a photoshoot going.

One more thing I like about the new bumper is that it gives the car a more rounded look and gets rid of the bullnosed look of the gen6

Looks good
How long did it take and how much did everything cost? Others might wish to do the same.

Besides the wiring, are there any other differences or difficulties in doing the conversion?

I applaud your work and skill, however the Gen6.5 Camry certainly looks worse than the Gen6. Now, it really does look like a large Corolla which isn't a good thing.

I think it'll look better if you put the license plate in the middle or don't put one at all.

Its a plastic divider next to the inner corner of the headlights... you can see on the third picture. The new grille is longer than the gen6 so it interfere's with the divider
