Smoked headlights and taillights

I just got my headlights and taillights tinted by Victor with Invisible Edge (phone 951-833-1914).

The headlights have a light tint that isn't as obvious in pictures, but are pretty obvious in person. They are not very dark, but that's completely fine with me as I don't want to limit visibility very much.

The taillights are just one shade darker than the headlights, but are much darker than I originally expected. Hopefully I will have the LEDs delivered tomorrow so I can install them in the coming days.

Headlight is good!

Taillight's gotta go. Or at least make a cutout for the white area.

Ditto, headlights look great. How's the light output at night?

Tailight's iffy... shoulda used the same tint as the front to have a dark red color.

I just got the tint done a couple hours ago so I don't know how things will look at night. Honestly, I hate the red color of the taillights so the darker tint for the rears was much more preferable to the lighter tint.

Depending on the illumination of the LEDs (brake lights, reverse lights, front and rear turn signals) that will be installed later this week, I may or may not make a cut-out for the reverse lights. I do agree that the film turned out darker than I originally expected as I was only hoping to hide the red as much as possible.

The rear lights look terrible. It's not going to take very long before you get stopped by the police.

The headlights look great! You have any idea what % tint was used? I might wanna do this instead of diy blackhouse them...Also you should leave a cutout for the white part in the tails.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments! I don't know what the tint % is, I just know it was the lightest film they had (that wasn't clear). The rear was just one step above that.

Both the front and rear tints are film.

I don't think it's a window tint film. I know mine's not.

I am nearly positive that it is a 3M brand, clear-bra type of film. I will see if I can get some better pics this weekend.
