Hi guys! My name is Miguel and i just got a 2009 toyota camry le. I saved up for this car for a couple of months. Now the question is should i get 19'' rims or 18'' rims would it really make that big of a diffrence going from 18 to 19? because i got a quote from a local Tire Plus and the guy said that he could get me the TSW CADWELL GUNMETAL RIMS 18X8.0 with FALKEN TIRE PACKACE of ZIEX 912 BL 225/40R18 92W 40,000 Mile warranty for 1410.09 He also said hes going to give me a free alinement. So would it be worth it to go up to 19 and pay 100-300 bucks more? Ill get some pics up and give me some suggestions on some mods i should do.
go 19' n go 235-40-19
19 look much better on gen6( nothing against 18ers)
+1 go 19" if you can afford the price and hashness. I had to go back to 18" because I have a family with kids.
But if you go with 18" the tire size 225-40-18 is too small for Gen6.
Go with 225-45-18.

nice choice in rims. was about to get same ones but the vairanos looked better against my car. i say go 19s and get 245/40/19. still plenty of meat and comfort. also i hate how that site words the finish on those rims. they have a mirror cut finish with gunmetal on the side of the spokes. looks awesome in person. whenever i clean and wax my rims they look very chromish from a bit of a distance. best finish imho.
it all matters on the drop too. I have 17 inch rims, but it looks sexy.
btw, 1400 bucks for rims and tires. for 18s. its a RIPOFF. buy you rims USED. trust me. No sense in buying new rims, its completely retarded. no offense to the guys who bought em new, but they'll tell you too. craigslist it or zilvia.net son!!

New rims have warranty, and peace of mind. If you don't intend to ever change them, I'd prefer to get new over used.
OMFG! so happy i came back from my friends house and gave my friends dad the quote the day before when i originally made the post. He works at a local toyota dealership and he check out the rims and tires and he can get them for 1140. installed! The 18''s. So new question should i go with 20''s 19''s or 18''s lol. Would 20s fit without damaging the car?.. i can afford it for the price good tires warranty and the rims i want. Any suggestions are taken into consideration thanks guys your all awsome!

20s will go on with no damage but the ride will be a bit more rough than the other ones. if u want more looks than comfort than get 20s. if you want a good comprimise get 19s. 18s are all about comfort pretty much. make sure you get the right tire combo along with your rims. btw what color is your car. i might be able to sway you one way with some pics..
My car is white, i talked to the my dads friend who's getting me the rims and he said that the 19s are probably going to rub. i still want to make sure they wont because that's my best bet. I want them big enough that they stand out and make my it look nice. but no rubbin cant afford damage on my car.
they will not rub. get 245/40/19 tires and 19x8.0. offset will be +40 like mine are and i have no rubbing. my friend has same rims as me on trd springs and still no rubbing. i'll be going to coils soon and i'm sure there will also be no rubbing. here is a pic of how they look put against a white car(your in luck as i have white and was thinking about same rims):
here is what i chose in the end:
edit: btw both are mirror cut finish with gunmetal on inside of spokes. don't get the fully chrome version of the cadwells as these look like chrome from certain angles anyway but from up close you will love the finish and the gunmetal on the inside as you won't see any brake dust. be sure to wax them to keep them as shinny as mine.
I don't have the springs tho, i will eventually do it. Just got to take it easy on the mods little by little and make it fun too! so they will fit without the springs, my car is completely stock
like i said. i have 245/40/19 on 19x8.0 rims with +40 offset which is exactly same spec as your rims and that is the tire size i would expect and i have no rubbing. my friend's SE has the exact same rims and tires as me and its lowered on trd springs with no rubbing eather. there is plenty of gap between tire and fender and tire and strut that you will not rub. just get the rims and begin enjoying them already
