brake issues

For some reason on my 07 v6, the brakes keep locking up. not only is it locking up, its also over heating. first it was the left rear and now its the right rear. the car has 47k and i cant understand what in the world would cause this to happen on a some what new car. this happened on my 99 camry, but that was after 180k not 47k. i have looked at the amount of meat on the pads and there is enough left for about 10-15k. and no, this is not covered under warranty. i know what is happening, but no idea why. does anyone have any insight to why my calipers are locking up.

I would have done a search, but this is already a pain in the rear using this site on my phone.. hint hint, mobile version?

Research this and see if the car has a proportioning valve. It would regulate pressure front to back based upon angle and g-force. I'm not certain this car has one, but it might, and it would possibly explain the problem.

before looking to your proportioning valve, i'd look toward a problem with your master cylinder, the piston in it is probably not aligned properly...
