Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
heres what i think redline is trying to get at: its not that bad when it's in use and it could be left on. but when not in use it shouldn't be on because the car looks a bit better without it but it's not that bad when its on. know what i mean?
Kind of. But what i'm trying to say is that if it's not gonna be used often then i don't think it's worthe the clutter that it will cause in the garage, even though the price might be good.
When deciding on whether to keep it, personally I would consider how frequently I would be using it and if I care if it's left on.
If you bike every weekend but don't want to leave it on, you may want to consider something easier to take off so you don't have a bike rack on all the time.
If you bike only infrequently and won't be using it a lot, i would keep it because it'd be worth the time to take it off for a long period of time, especially if you got it for a really good price.

A bike rack is never designed to be a fashion statement or to improve the aerodynamics of the car. It is just an appliance to permit you to haul the bikes from point a to point b. If you don't like the way it looks, sell it along with the bikes. If you want to ride a bike in a remote location, keep the rack. Seems simple. Why ask everyone if it is beautiful or not? Does it work??

if i wanted to sell my bikes i would never have bought the rack....i know exactly what a bike rack does, however, i also care about how my car looks. i like the look of the rack, but i also like the look without it.
