Hello fellow Camry owners!

Hello everyone! I'm new here and this is my first Camry purchase. It's a Gen 6.5 I4 Le Auto with standard factory options. I haven't owned a new car in a while and boy, what a different a new Camry makes! So far I have enjoy almost everything about my new Camry accept for a few things which I intended to improve on or mod in the near future. Since I have just recently purchased it, I haven't put a lot of miles on it, but the new 2.5L seems pretty preppy in normal driving. Also, I'm not a very aggressive driver so this car fit mine needs well. I hope it will poses little challenge on occasion that I sometime go out of town and have to drive up a big hill or something. But so far everything seems good!

One more thing, I often have to park outside on my driveway under the sun so if anyone could recommend a good but not too expensive car cover for my car that would be great!

- Dave

Nice reading all the treads that I came across in this forum and look forward to making some new friends!

Congrats! Definitely post some pics like Punks said.

Regarding the car cover, I just got a basic cover from Costco for about $40 and it works well enough.

I have a car cover as well, 70 bucks.

Just besure your car is clean and dust free before you put it on, or you'll end up with micro-scratches, or worse.

I only put mine on when i go away for 3 days or longer and it only goes on when it's parked in the garage during the time period i'm away.

Other wise it's in the garage all the time

I only used the cover when I went to the mountains, but from what I can remember it covered the entire car and only left a small part of the wheels/tires exposed. For the price it easily did what I needed.

Hi guys! Thanks for the help regarding the car cover. I never thought about finding one at Costco, but now I will keep it in mind next time I shop there. Also, thanks for the warning about the scratches.

I know everyone wanted me to post some pics of my car, but it's just pretty much stock right now. Not much to look at. However, I did took some pictures over the weekend and decided to make it look more interesting. Hope you guys enjoy it!

As for future mods, there are a couple of things I would like to do.

I wanted to start out by finding it a nice pair of shoes to replace the steel ones that it came with. I'm currently looking for "16 alloys rims.

I would also like to improve on the factory sound system. I want to keep the stock head unit and just upgrade to better speakers. I don't listen to my music very loud. I just wanted good quality sound. I'm still trying to read up on the treads in the audio forum to assist me with this. If anyone have any suggestion on how best to approach this please feel free to let me know.

Next, I'm thinking about getting a tint. I'm thinking about going with ceramic tint for the rear and back window.

OK. Now let's get to the photos. I hope this work!
