08 Camry SE Fog Light Issue

I installed a yellow HID foglight kit on my Camry SE and it worked perfectly for 5 months until I blew a fuse. I replaced the 15 amp fuse for a 25 amp and they worked fine.

Two weeks ago I blew the 25 amp fuse, I replaced it and it blew again. I replaced it with a 30 amp one and it blew it. I unistalled the HID kit and installed the OEM 9005 bulds and still blowing up fuses.

I know there's a short somewhere but I can't figure out where. Does anybody have any idea where this short might be or should I just bring the car to the dealer and let them figure it out?

First, you should NEVER upgrade your stock fuse, your wires are not made for higher amps than what they are designed for.

Second, 08 Camry uses H11 bulbs for fog lights.

And third, dealer might refuse to fix it, cause you had HID fogs, unless you tell them different.

I'd say check the wiring and connections. Make sure there are no exposed wired that may be touching other metal parts. Check the connections so the lead aren't touching each other.

Ditto on what GT-R said as well.
9005 are meant for high beams.. and is a higher wattage

Did you install a relay along with the HID's?

Sorry, I meant H11's instead of 9005's. I uninstalled everything and it looks just like stock. I checked all the wiring and I cannot detect anything.
I did replaced the 30 amp fuse with the 15 amp it calls for and still blew it.

Looks like the relays cause nothing but trouble.
