Anyone ever pulled the entire front dash out of a Gen5? I've gotten to the point of removing everything (gauge cluster, lower covers/glove box, center HVAC controls/stereo, HVAC vents) but I can't seem to find the magic bolts that will let me pull this sucker out.
I want to remove and spray it outside of the car in a shop, instead of masking everything off and paint it inside and still installed, while trying to avoid dust/overspray.
(Yes, I'm in the process of changing my interior color... from taupe to black/gunmetal grey. Door panels and carpet, which will be fairly easy, are next... then the seats and headliner)
