Great Deal on a Extended Warranty

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

If your vehicle has less than 36k miles/3 yrs. then you need to check this out.

This is the best deal I have found on an Extended Warranty.

This is only available for vehicles that qualify for new vehicle plans by Toyota, this means they must be less than 36 months since the Date of First Use (original sale date) and have less than 36,000 miles. US or Canadian.

These warranties are actual Toyota warranties, not some 3rd party warranty. The warranty is good at all Toyota dealerships. Troy also does Scion and Lexus warranties.

A 4wd Tacoma Platinum warranty lists for $1650 from the dealership. Troy can do $880.00 for the 7 yr/100k mile Platinum coverage w/ $0 deductible.
(Troy offers the same warrany on a 4x4 Tundra for $990) Heck, one transmission repair job could cost you more than that. IMO it's a good idea to get the extended warranty, especially when you can get it for half the cost that most dealerships charge for it.

Troy can give you a deal on any Toyota, Scion, or Lexus vehicle. Just e-mail him.

If you have already bought an extended warranty, but you paid too much, you can still cancel your warranty, get a refund, and buy a new one through Troy, and save some money. Plus a portion of the proceeds will go to Toyota Nation to support the site.

Here is the link to Toyota Financial's website, which lists the plan benefits and retail pricing, as it would be too extensive for me to list here.

Thanks, I just traded my 08' Tundra for a 10' Camry xle......It hurts but needed a more efficient vehicle
So I barely have 1k on the camry, and they wanted $1395 for the contract.... They said my tundra was $1895 and my Tacoma was $1595....so how is a 2wd CAR only $200 less?????

Thanks Dana_15, I sent an email to Troy and will most likely be purchasing an extended warranty from him.

Cool, no problem. This guy is legit, a lot of members have purchased an extended warranty from him, it is a Toyota warranty and can be used at any Toyota dealership.

I actually purchased my 4Runner from his dealership and warranty as well. I think it was like $900 for the Platinum 7/100.

the reason i bought a toyota was to stay away from ext. warr. they are reliable enough. just get a toy certified car w/factory warr with 1-2 yrs remaining. No need for extended warr.

I agree with njerald. In my case, so far the warranty has covered over $3k work of work. Many problems still remain on my car so I want to make sure to everything taken care of well into the future.

But to carlo$, I originally felt the same way you did and that is why I originally bought a Toyota without the warranty. But after two years and having countless problems....

Whoa! That's a good deal on extended warranty!

I might purchase one from Troy if I decide to buy mine out, and before my 3yr/36k ends. As long as I don't go over the 3yr/36K, I can purchase the warranty anytime, right? And, it doesn't matter where I live, right? The warranty is valid nationwide?

Well, you never know what might happen down the road after 3yrs.

The day I start having probs w/the toy its the day I dump it for a Hyundai or Honda.
I really don't see the need for ext warr on a toy, i would buy it for an american or european car.

Bought my 2007 SE warranty (6 year/75000 Platinum) from Troy for $559. No way I would have paid my dealers price of $1200+ but I figure pretty much anything that goes wrong with the car and I'll at least come close to breaking even or better. Dealer repairs are not cheap. Also considering selling the car at the 5 year point and having a 1 year transferable Toyota warranty on a used car is a HUGE selling point. That alone will pretty much get you your money back. At these prices it's really hard to go wrong with this warranty.

Just as an FYI to everyone, there was a price increase for the 7yr/100k miles Platinum warranty through Troy as of October last year. The price is now $945.
