Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I currently have flowmaster and a resonator delete on my 2007 camry v6 se. I want to keep the same mufflers (but i am willing to change them) but i want to know what else i can do to gain performance from the exhaust. I am willing to spend 1000 at the most.

custom headers, did you get a high flow cat converter put on? what size piping?
If you do a search you'll find a ton of threads with peoples setups.
Mine is Magnaflow cat and muffler....2.5" piping on back with the resonator deleted.

Yeah, for the most gain, just run custom stainless steel piping from headers back, including y-pipe and cat and everything. Get all new SS piping that connects to your headers all the way to exhaust.
But for about 1000, you can keep your exhaust system you have now, and run custom headers and have them make a y-pipe for you too.

Does anyone sell headers for the Camry's 3.5L V6? I've looked around a bit and not found them anywhere.
If they aren't pre-made, would local muffler shops fabricate them on demand? It seems like headers are the types of things that need a fair amount of R&D...

Nope, no one sells headers for the 2GR-FE motor, but depending on the shop or custom welder, one should be able to just simply copy the lengths of the stock headers, but just running new piping and removing the cats. I understand that won't exactly be the ideal way to do it, without calcuating the short/long runners, but it'd be at least something. Running custom piping for headers/y-pipe may also eliminate any mandrel bends, such as the one that exists in the stock y-pipe now.

No store/company specifically sells headers for our Camry but someone was test fitting and trying them out. He might sell them too
