sun visor got detached. help..

my camry is a 2008 SE v6.
had it for 2 years now.

when i was driving on a sunny day, i tried to put the visor down.
all of a sudden it fell off. completely detached.
the hook stayed on top, the mirror and the rest of the visor fell off. plus the fabric got ripped of a bit.

will toyota fix this?. will it be covered by warranty?
thanks

Ours did the same thing, one dealer wanted to charge us but another dealer fixed it under the warranty. I refuse to go to the first dealer for any thing now, due to this and other problems not resolved.

Just try different dealers......

common issue...i fixed one of these at work the other day (im a toyota tech)
instead of screwing the visors in like they used to (had 3 SCREWS holding it in) they went to using 2 cheap metal clips that come loose over time...sad part is you must replace the whole visor...
take it to the dealer...should be fixable under warrenty (assuming you are under 3/36k or have an extended warrenty)
