I am running a custom downpipe and flowmaster exhaust on my 2007 v6 camry. I was just wondering if removing the secondary cat would help improve power. If not what else can i do to gain power from my exhaust system. Would 2.5 inch piping all the way back help as i am already running 2.5 inch piping in the custom downpipe.

i don't see the point of a 2.5 downpipe if you're still running your stock piping from the downpipe back.
Removing secondary cat probably won't add power to your car. Maybe.. But not very likely. Your car doesn't need any air to be freed up. It doesn't have boost through a turbo or supercharger. Even most V8 camaros keep their cats.

not running a Cat is illegal in most states...You'd probably lose power ifyou got ride of the cat all together....just get 2.5" piping and delete the resonator if you haven't already...
He has a custom downpipe which is pretty unique and sexy, even though any good exhaust shop can make this for you. Just go get some custom headers and keep your cat, but go 2.5 from the cat back. I'm sure they make 2.5 high flo cats also.
KEEP YOUR CAT... Its illegal, and I will report you to the proper authorities =D

Thanks for the advice guys. Im definitely gonna do the 2.5 inch piping, but do u guys think the high flow cat will make me gain power or should i just keep the stock cat.

Definitely go for resonator delete and just rock 2.25" straight back, unless you plan on swapping for custom headers, then doing 2.5" straight back to muffler would be a better shot.
As for the cat delete, it'd just make things loud and smelly, rock a high-flo.

Just getting bigger piping and freeing up flow will not get you the power you're desiring... You need more flow IN to get more flow OUT... Think about it and work on the IN part...
