Hey all, I recently purchased some LED tail lights for my '08 SE. As I went to install then last night, I discovered that the harness didn't match? Anyone know of an adapter that would be necessary to do the LED conversion? I am hesitant to start cutting/splicing wires. Thanks for any assistance.
Thanks for the replies - Sooo..just start splicing and toss the harnesses? Odd that they don't match up - certainly advertise that they do. Looks like all of the ones on Ebay have the same harness as mine?
Were the lights for a hybrid camry? If I remember correctly don't the LED Tail lights for the hybrids have a different harness then the SE/LE/XLE?

Contacted seller earlier today - no response yet.
Why would you even splice and toss? Again, the wires are plug and play. Did you follow the instructions? Of the 10+ people who have it here and hundreds if not thousands who bought it had no problem at all.
But like Drifta said, did you get Hybrid LEDs? Pics of plug and LEDs that you bought would help

That's exactly what I asked the seller - Hybrids?? All of the advertised SE LED's on Ebay appear to have the same harness as the ones that were shipped to me. I'll work on getting the photos...
Here is a link to the pictures of the harness that I was shipped (Ebay). You have to scroll down a little to see it the harness included. Do these match yours? My stock harness was different - I can't see how it would plug in...

If your connector on your tail lights match the ones on the web site, then all you have to do is remove the bulb from the socket and insert the plug into the hole vacated by the bulb. Don't forget to plug the socket back into the tail light housing.

Install your existing backup bulb and turn signal bulb into the new tailights.
Remove the bulbs from the existing tail/stop and taillights and plug the harness into the new tails.
Damn - I'm a fool! I thought the bulb plus harness had to come out...just the bulb!? Thanks all - I appreciate it...guess I have a few things to learn...
