Tyres, wheel balancing/alignment or brakes?

Here is a weird problem.
Recently I upgraded to Aurion Sportivo 17’’ wheels and set of Michelin tyres 235/45R17. Wheels were balanced and aligned. Also last week I had 4 slotted discs and new brake pads installed. All works great however time to time when I brake the steering wheel turns to the left or right but it doesn’t do it all the time. The problem appeared after wheels and tyres were fitted. My brakes were due for the change and I hoped it might help but it still happens.
While driving car goes straight. It only happens when braking but not all the time. Any ideas what it might be wrong?

You made a lot of changes all at ounce but the symptoms point to the brakes. Did anyone crack into the calipers so that air might have gotten in? I'd take a look at the calipers and the pads and see if anything on either side is hanging up or not releasing properly. Are the new rotors a little too thick, maybe?? It acts as if one caliper is grabbing harder than the other, but if it alternates side to side, that just raises new questions.

has to be something with the brakes. get those checked out. make sure everything is for your car.
