Hi, I got a question about the H11 Pigtail Socket here is what I am looking for:
I have no clue where to find these..looked through ebay and nothing there.. called Toyota they sell one socket for like $20 bucks (rip off..) anyone have a clue where I can get one? sorry for the blurry images (cell).
why do you even need one. google h11 socket. if not check out hidplanet and see if anyone has one there.
Well this is what happened my friend bought an HID kit from ModEx, at the time he just ordered a conversion kit and never knew about the "relay harness" so he took his kit to a shop that installs HID's, well everything was fine up until I looked at his install and was like "WHAT THE HECK?" what they did was proceeded with the install and chopped off the pig tails to connect the stock harness directly to the ballasts, lol..so I told him he needs a relay harness and a pig tail so his HIDs can draw power from the battery instead of the stock harness, and I've looked over at google and can't seem to find anything..
check out the want to buy/trade section of hidplanet. my friend got a kit from them and it included some wires so that you can use the stock pigtails. we didn't cut his stock one. now he's running a relay. i could cut one of my off and give it to you since i only need one for my relay but i might extend my connectors to foglights.

Thanks, I will look into the forums there..and he does have a relay now just need that pigtail connector, how much would you sell yours off..I need couple inches of wiring sticking off the pigtail so I can wire it off to the stock harness..since you only use one of the pigtails for it to signal to the relay..
also have some pigtails from my relay harness since that was modded for my d2s ballasts. forgot about them. they have short wires though. pm me if your interested.
they have them. they look different but serve the same purpose. you won't find the exact same connector as original.
Hmm..you are absolutely correct.. I just went and looked at his relay harness and the plug that you would plug into the stock pigtail fits the plugs that go inside the ballasts.. I could even buy something that looks like this..
Just cut off the male connectors and hook it up to the stock harness that's without the pigtail and I'm all set..Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it.

Yeah you're right, the original only has some more plastic around it but the connector is the same.
like i said. i have 2 plugs just like that. i cut the ones that my harness came with. then i hooked the wires up to the connectors that came with my ballasts.

How long are your wires on those plugs? I need up to 6" probably..reason is the stock harness isn't that long..so extra wiring is needed.
