Your steering wheel buttons and BT will cease to function if you replace the radio. If the new radio has it, then fine that will work but your steering wheels will definitely not. YOu can buy a device to make them work, but you will only have functions like source, volume up/down, and track up/down.
Thank you, and what about the Meta kit and Pioneer? any idea whether the Steering wheel buttons & bluetooth work?
That pioneer is nice, I am planning to get one like that someday..and like "touringcamry" said, it won't work unless it's made for a camry with controls or w/e..that's why you get a remote to do all that.

That's not true. Actually www.crutchfield.com they have a tool called PAC Toyota that allows the support of JBL system + the steering wheel. However, you will loose the hands-free bluetooth and the AUX.
I'm still deciding whether to get the Pioneer AVIC-Z110BT or Kenwood DNX-9140 any suggestions and why would be nice.?

I just forgot to add in that some systems come made to work with certain vehicle, but most are just screen and remote or without remote.
