Gen5 Rear Rotor Rubber Plug Questions

Can someone tell me what the rubber plug is for on the rear rotor? Further, can you tell me what position it is supposed to be located in? I would like to upload a photo, but can't figure out how, unless I publish it to a website. Any help is appreciated.

Can/should the rubber plug be adjusted? If I purchase a new rotor, I assume this rubber plug does not come with and I have to transfer it.

Can you tell me what the minimum allowable thickness is for the rear rotor. Looks like I need to turn these down. Thank you.

rubber plug is to cover up the hole for adjusting parking brakes. what do you mean what position its supposed to be in? there's only one hole for adjusting parking brakes in the rotor... and therefore you can't adjust the plug itself...

yes, if you purchase a new rotor, the plug will need to be transferred to the new rotor.

minimum thickness is usually stamped on the rotors.

Okay, I've been able to post the images here:

Which part of the rotor mount should the rubber plug on the rotor match up with? There are 5 possible options when you mount the rotor, since there are 5 mounting bolts. I've numbered the 5 in the photo. Thank you.

mount the rotor onto the hub so that the hole in the rotor is not blocked by the hub. you will obviously need to take the rubber plug out to check this. and honestly, would it have been so hard to try the five different ways the rotor could be mounted? and you can tell from the rust pattern the way it was originally mounted...
