Help with Camry Jack Points

I am trying to change the weels on my 2004 Camry. I have a 2 ton Michelin hydraulic floor jack. When I position it under the rear center Jack point, the jack and handle are so far under the vehicle that there is not sufficient clearance to operating the lift handle.
I read somewhere that the 4 notched jack points near the wheel wells are only designed for the emergency scissor jack and that they will be damaged by a floor jack. If this is the case, are there other suitable jack points for the rear of the vehicle? There are to rectangular beams that run between the front and rear wheels and are about a foot from the vehicle sides that look like they may be the frame of the vehicle. Would these be safe to use (structurally and won't slip off)?
Thanks in advance for the help.
Regards, MM

extend the handle with a piece of pipe... problem solved.

you read correctly. do a search on "jack point"... and you will find a thread on the very same subject, where i've commented on the above.
