RX400/350/330 OEM 18"x7"x35 Wheels fitment question.

I wonder if anyone know these RX400/350/330 OEM 18"x7"x35 wheels would fit on a GEN5 SE with 235/45/18 ? I saw ASIANRICK had a set of the older version 5 spokes I assumed his was 18"x7"x35 on his GEN5, but I'm unable to verify this, and I do not know if these RX wheels need spacer to clear the brakes caliper or not, like the Highlander one ?

Forgot to mention the car is lowered with Eibach.

Thanks,
TT,

Thanks,
TT,

are you sure its 35 offset? looks like its 45 to me...

fitment is gonna be ok with the tiresize and the specs of the car.

and remember. dont forget to replace centercaps

I'm not sure about the offset, I thought it would be the same as the older 5 spokes version one as 35. Again I'm not sure I may have to ask the guy again. But what about this replica one below ? Is there spacer require for it too ?

18"x7" Fits Lexus rx300 rx330 rx350 rx400

Bolt Pattern: 5 x 4.50 or 5 x 114.3

Offset: 35

if offset is +35 to +45 then no need for spacers. you needed spacers on the highlander ones because i believe offset was +50 and it hit calipers.

my bad... yeah those are +35.. i didn't pay attention 18x7 +35 offset makes sense. it's gonna look the same as 18x8 +45 setup. the gen5 guy who has isx50 wheels has that setup and he's look hella flush from where i see.

The Highlander is 35 offset also, and I hope the above 35 offset will clear the brake calipers, as I want OE/fit/look some thing that give 35 offset. Thanks again.

well it also depends on the design on the spokes. some will hit while others won't.

Do you think it's a risk if I want to go with the second rim above as 35 offset, I just want to get these today, I'm on a spare now, damn it, ran over a piece of 1/8 wire on the road this morning, and I need to replace the whole set of tire bad, as they worn all the way to the indicator no tread left plus the puncher this morning, I want to take advantage of this to make a switch in 18", Please !!! advice.

I choose to go with the replica is, because they're within my budget and 35 offset and brand new, they comming from FL, the 1st set at the beginning of this thread, is used, cost more, and have to come out from West Coast, CA. The only thing that holding me off, is the brake caliper clearance, as I'm unable to verify this, and except ASIANRICK, he's the only one who had this setup so far on the GEN5.

Thanks,
TT,

You can try to just test fit them on, and see if they hit the strut or not. But at 7" width, you should be fine even if it is +35, shouldn't be close enough to the fender to rub.

I can't test fit them, and I wish I could, the vendor don't recommend to put them a GEN5, since those are for the RX, I have to purchase them, but once I mount the tire, they do not want the rims back of I'm having difficulty with fitment, I'm use at my own risk,. Oh, well, I may have to think about it again before make purchase.

If you're lowered with +35 watch you fenders...you may need to roll the tabs on the rear fenders.

But yea those will fit fine....i have +48 and no issues..they're closer to the struts than the calipers...

Thanks for the head up on that, I will watch out for it if I plan to go with 35 offset on that type of wheels.

Thanks again,

just get the wheels and worry about fit later. if you have to roll the fenders then roll them. if you have to add spacers then add them. make the car fit the wheels and not around. don't get something else just because it will fit better. get what you like.
