2005 Camry code P0778

I have a 2005 Camry XLE V6, 30k miles. I was driving home the check engine, trac off and vsc lights come on. I stopped at AutoZone and they pulled the code, P0778.
Pressure controle solenoid "B" electrical (SSV SL2)
Likely causes:
1 Open or short circuit
2 Low transmission fluid
3 Shift solenoid valve

The fluid is ok. Anyone seen this?
Am I looking at an expensive repair?

Aisin U-151 5-speed transmission? IMO the entire U-series transmissions are bad news. You just found out.

I'd take it back to the dealer and they should fix it under the powertrain warranty. So if you're the original owner it should be FREE repair.

I don't know which transmission, the one that comes with an XLE.
I'm the second owner.

What is the length of the powertrain warranty for these cars?

5 years/60K miles. Not sure if it's transferable.

It's a U-series transmission. They have much more problems than the earlier A-series.

Great.

I quit buying Pontiacs because the Bonneville I had would break every few thousand miles.

I have a Toyota now, I put 4000 miles on it in one year, (bought it with 26k miles on it), and the transmission breaks.

I guess I'll have to switch to Honda?
