Talking Hello from a Gen 5 owner from So Cal

I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say hi. I purchased my 2002 SE brand new and the past couple of years it became my daily driver after I gave my father my Tundra and my 350z became less and less streetable lol.

I have never thought about ever modding my Camry. It all started because I opted to get a nice tint job this weekend since my son is 2 weeks old and I want to keep the sunlight out of his face. I tried using those roll-up sunshade products and they just suck haha . The shocks also need to be replaced so I figured that I take the opportunity to drop the Camry on some coilovers. I placed a couple of classified ads up so I would appreciate any assistance.

WTB: 5th Gen Camry Coilovers

WTB: 19 to 20" Wheels with "Aggressive" widths and offsets

I'm also sponsored by JP/Vizage so their polyurethane lip kit will be arriving the end of this month for install.

Here are a few pics of my Tundra and 350z to give you guys a better idea about my tastes. Thanks and I look forward to being part of this community.

i'm pretty sure the gen 5 guys wil appreciate you here! most classifieds that are in your range of taste *wheels are in clublexus.com . most dudes over here do not go for those baller rims.. although there are a great amount of gen 5 owners that had and still have them..

this is a thread dedicated to gen 5 fitment.

Widest wheels on gen 5 / aggressive

must of gen 5 and 6 general info's are on the very top so just make sure to take a good look at those!..

Thanks for the compliments and warm welcome. I went on to clublexus and saw some wheels I am interested in. Thanks for the advice!

I just found some Endless brakes for my Z, so it may slow down this project a bit.

Thanks. My friend took them when he was still learning. I believe he does most of the shoots for Falken tires these days.

welcome to the family.. I am sure that your Camry will be awesome, especially since I've lusted over your Z in more than a few magazines.

I have a set of D2 coilovers that I may be interested in parting with. I am not local though, so shipping may be a large hassle.

Haha, that's awesome that you recognized it. That's very humbling...thanks!

CooL! These are the coilovers from Kasiiim (sp?) right? I saw them when I was searching the classifieds. His car made me drool when I saw his car on the CE28's. Let me know if you are down to sell them and for how much. I'm definitely interested.

Reason for selling?

I just have very minor plans for the camry since I don't want to go all crazy with another project right now since my son was just born. I plan to do the following:

-JP/Vizage kit
-HID's (Installed today)
-5% tint all around (Installed today)
-Coilovers
-19" rims
-Kenwood DNX 7140 or DNX9140 head deck
-Components and 6x9's
-Maybe tint or candy paint tail lights and change front grille.

I agree lol. It was for sponsorships.

I didn't get a chance to take pics of the tint job, but here are some crappy cell phone pics of the HID's installed:
