'09 SE suspension woes

My '09 SE with 7k miles on it has some suspension issues. At about 5K miles, the right front suspension started making a 'popping' noise at low speed. It wasn't a 'clunking' noise. It actually sounded like an old fashioned cork pop gun, and there was no noise above 20 mph. The dealer said it was a bad strut, and installed a new one (without doing at least a front-end alignment). That solved the problem, but now I am hearing the same noise from the left front and left rear suspension. I am guessing that Toyota got a bad batch of struts from a supplier. Has anyone else had this problem?

This is my third Toyota, and the first time I have ever had to make a warranty claim. Granted it is a minor claim. I think I am going to ask to have all four struts replaced so that they are all matching, and insist on a four wheel alignment. Am I out of line with this request? Any feedback will be appreciated. Thanks!

get em replaced, get the alignment, and don't worry about it. this isn't common. only way for there to be any rattles or noises is if you lower and are on xle/le struts. they don't like the lowering springs too long. se has KYBs which are known for durability.
