The vane pump of my Camry 2002,v6,xle,157K. leaks just a little bit.Did anyone try steering pump gasket treatment?Any suggestions?Thanks!

No, I've never had an occasion to need the stuff but at that mileage it might be a cheap and temporary fix until you gather enough shekels to replace the thing.

Replace what needs to be replaced, don't just treat it. In the end it's gonna cost you more.

The treatment could also possibly ruin your steering rack, which in the long run will cost you a fortune to replace.

Check with the dealer and see if they sell a rebuild (re-seal?) kit for the pump. I remember reading someone ordered one for an old model year.
