Pimp My Ride

Alright, so heres the deal...

I currently set aside about $3,000 for 08 Camry SE but dont know what to do with it or where to even start.
So if i gave any one of you $3,000 to mod my car, what would you do with it?

i would go with a decent sound system, lowering springs, tint, RSB and a set of 19" wheels

I'd dropped the car first, then look for rims that would fill in the lowered wheel wells nicely, then prob exhaust, intake etc

There is a shop in Placentia called Supreme Power that has some nice closeout deals on rims/tires right now. Talk to Jeff and let him know that I sent you.

Sorry and i know theres probably a few similar threads, this forum is mainly about mods. im just curious to see what most would do with that amount and i plan to take that step and do it myself.

Aside from the always hot topic of rims id like to see if anyone has any new out of the ordinary ideas inwhich 3,000 could help bring to life. im sure a few people have alil something in mind that they havent brought up yet

Nah, it's cool. Just don't want you to get in trouble for similar topics, that's all.

Retrofit ALWAYS comes to mind!

I will hand pick up mine myself when I stop by in Jersey again.

will 20's still give me a smooth ride? im not tryin to feel every dip and hole in the ground

And Retrofits are something ive always thought about but never really understood why spend 100's more instead of HID's. i know what the difference is and all, just havent yet talked myself into taking that plunge

springs or coils are going to make you feel the holes anyway...get 20's for a more classy look, 19's for a more sporty...i like the classy

get 18's with a 225/45/18 tire, and you might be able to drop it and the ride still be alright...but I think 18's look funny on a dropped car...
