I don't mind writing up a DIY... it's just that there hasn't been that much interest in it... I'll get the actual part for the screen when I get home

True, it's the same way with the radio... except it has glue on the back, so adhesive backing is preferred

and what I meant was... yes there is a screen, but there is glue that holds it onto the screen.. when you peel off the screen, the glue distorts everything and becomes useless... a watch screen is one thing and a radio screen is another. It's ALOT bigger than a watch screen, therefore flaws are more visible..

To get the blue effect, I used PFSC_AG/HC with on the front and PFA without adhesive in the back.

The screen is comprised of two pieces of glass sandwiched together with liquid crystal in the middle the both sides of the screen are then covered with a sheet of polarizing film on both sides. I replaced both sides to get the effect.

I did not change the light. Just changed both the polarizing films. By changing the orientations of the film you can get a blue, purple or black screen effect. The backlighting is still white, hence the white lettering.

From what you said in your first post:

2) Stock Radio
- Blue LEDs (already had it done)
- Black-faced screen

Would've made more sense for you to put an 'I think' in the front. Blue LEDs mean the face plate... never said I changed the backing of the screen

Yes, you need to cut the sheets... and No I have none left... Each sheet is enought to cut two pieces (front and back)... I used both to test out the colors
