Power Window problem

The left passenger side power window of my 2002 Camry hasn't been working for a while. I checked the corresponding fuse and it is fine. All other Power windows work normally. Today I opened the panel and took out the motor and tested. I tested the motor by operating with an external 12V source and no problem to move in either direction.

Then I checked the continuity of the wires coming to the rear door and to the motor lead. When I checked the continuity to the wire to the motor with a multi meter, it beeped even though I didn't press the switch. It shouldn't have any continuity when the switch is in neutral. Isn't it?

When I pressed down the switch, the beep stopped. If take off my hand it beeps and if I lift up the switch it beeps. So at both the neutral and up position, there is continuity but no continuity when I press down.

What is the problem here?

Maybe no problem at all, but check the opposite door that DOES work and note which wires show continuity and then check both for voltage in the various positions. Perhaps the problem is up stream from the switch or the switch itself.

I'm betting it's the switch.

I checked the switch with one working window. No problem.

I wonder where can I find the wiring diagram.
