So I Seafoamed my Camry today...

I fed it through the vacuum hose shown on youtube... turned off my car for 5 minutes or so, drove it... and NO SMOKE...

Is it okay to have no smoke?

I just hit 70,000 miles... First time Seafoaming...

Is if because I drive highway 95%?

What gives?

You probably didn't see the smoke while the car was moving.

It would have very likely been very little smoke.

You did this on your Gen6? If so, I was going to say check the spark plugs, but that's fairly difficult on the 2GR motor.

Yep, my gen6... all the videos show large puffs of smoke... just wondering if highway driving produces less build up

try leaving it for about 15 mins or so. That happened when I did my accord for the first time. I left it for about 5 mins and got like a minute of weak smoke. So im like w.e, but a few months later I did it and left it for about 15 mins. I got much more smoke, like 5 mins worth but not like what you see on youtube though..

Did the 04 camry on the other hand and the first time i got huge amounts of smoke for like 15 mins ... not even a full year later I did it again and got another 15 mins of thick smoke ... So leaving it for a bit longer might produce more smoke but i highly doubt its that dependent on how long you leave it in.

Try it again in a few months.

Well I left it off for a couple hours and turned it on and a small amount of smoke came out while idling for a few seconds...

Here is what I'm trying to figure out...

1) There so much hard build up that it couldn't break it all down (since it's the first time I did it and I have 70K)

or

2) My manifold is clean because I drive mostly highway
