So one my fog lights that i bought from ebay broke today.. the glass wasn't shattered and is still manageable. i was looking for a replacement and came across these..
What do you guys think? is it the same diameter as the OEM? should i go for it and put some HID's on? i want to put some yellow fogs what color suits best?
thanks and more power to TN contributors!
BTW.. I'LL BE SLEEPING SO JUST KEEP ON THE COMMENTS/discussions

I don't know about the size and fitment, but as for yellow and bulbs, just get 2500k Nokya yellows...they're pretty bright and won't blind like HID's do.

2.75" diameter... those are tiny (OEM is much bigger), but will fit inside the foglights... I say go for it... make sure you get an H3 kit, and follow the positive and negative leads since it won't be plug and play, we have H11 sockets
So you want to replace a cheap eBay fog with another cheap eBay fog? Fail because you'll end up spending the same amount you would spend on cheap fogs rather than go out and spend decent quality fogs once.
I say get good quality aftermarket fogs or look for OEM fogs that was ripped out of a junked car.
Do it right or dont do it at all . I rather spend a little extra and get it done correctly rather than have more headaches down the road and spend more money. If I know the item is very cheap to replace I'll go cheap such as cellphone accessories like chargers and cables. Why spend $30 on a charger when a $5 charger on eBay does the same thing?
As for yellow fogs, just place a yellow film or paint the fog covers yellow. You can get yellow bulbs like PND said but do you want to spend more money on bulbs since you're already spending money on fogs itself?
Thanks for the reply guys... Well thing is i'm not keeping the car for long *again as i have a deal with my father.. so i though i'd throw these in too... i'll keep you guys posted.. i'm still skeptical about how they will perform but we will see... oh yeah and most junkyards dont have toyota parts... as the common stereotype phrase say, "toyotas are safe, even asian people can drive em!"

jan. don't waste money on those. get bosch minis, blazers, is300s, es300s, or celica fog projectors and retro them in. the parts shouldn't be too much. just a bit of work. make sure theres just a good shield inside and throw some 3k hids in there. won't blind and you'll have jdm yellow hid fogs.
edit: looked at price. at 60 bucks you can find one of the above and they'll perform so much better.
i been thinking about doing that for the longest time. just haven't had time to go to the junk yard. Buy a pair of headlights and just make the projectors from that work. Plus with the H11 i can use those like head lights.
redline: most projectors are too big. our stock low beam ones are decently small but they still are too big. pretty much just the ones i mentioned will work. i have my fogs out and siting in my trunk right now so i have time to play with them. i'm waiting for one of the above(mostly like is300s) to show up on hidplanet before i do a retro. they cost too much on ebay(like 200 for is300s).
I don't know about the size and fitment, but as for yellow and bulbs, just get 2500k Nokya yellows...they're pretty bright and won't blind like HID's do.
x2..actually they might blind you lol..people complain about my nokya's moreso than my older hid's
I can't remember what kind of car it was but it had OEM projector fogs. I seen in the parking lot at my school. I think it was a Lincoln suv or something like that I can't remember, maybe a Ford. But i'm sure i can find something or at least make it fit. Maybe even motorcycle ones.
one thing to those who hate hid fogs.... if you have the hids in a foglight projector that was designed to cut the light off at where the low beam's foreground ends then it will not have any glare. you get more glare from our original halogen reflector gen6 and gen5 foglight than you would with retrofit projector hid fogs. so like a regular low beam retrofit, hid fogs are alright if they are going through a retrofit foglight projector.
x2..actually they might blind you lol..people complain about my nokya's moreso than my older hid's
Really? I have the Nokya yellows 2500k and no complaints or flashes.
