Gen5 B&G Lowering Springs: Review

I did a search on this forum regarding B&G Springs. I couldn't find anything so I figured I might as well write a review for other people and for future reference.

  • Item Name: B&G S2 Sport Lowering Springs
  • Price: $249.99 ($300 total w/ Shipping) [www.yourhotcar.com]
  • Front: 1.6" Rear: 1.4 (2002-2006 Toyota Camry 4 cy)
Description: Progressive Spring rate design to maintain ride quality while improving road feel and handling. B&G lowering springs are wound from high tensile Chromium-Silicone wire purchased from Europe's premium mines. The lowering springs are cold wound on CNC coilers; heat treated and shot peened for longevity; and finished with phosphate treatment and a baked on resin powder coating for a hard corrosion resistant shell.

REVIEW: I give these springs 4.5 Stars
  • Easy to install
  • Took me 6 hours to install
  • Gives the car better handling
Reason why i give these springs 4.5 stars is because I feel like the back sags a little bit. Its not a big deal but I think it would've looked better if the springs would've lowered the car like 1.2 in the rear or 1.1. But besides that, Im totally happy with the product, they feel great and look great. Handling did improve and I would recommend these springs to other people.
Installed in a 2003 Toyota Camry I4.

(My sig is b4 the drop, will post pics of new drop asap)

Thanks for posting this, but you really didn't post much of a review. You didn't really give any comparisons to other springs or anything. Not trying to flame you or anything, just commenting.
